Exercise #1: While standing, plant your feet wide apart. They should be parallel to the width of your shoulders. Keep your back straight and gently clasp your hands in front of your navel. Concentrate on a spot at the ground. Gently breathe in and out through your nose.
Exercise #2: Try the sun salutation technique that involves proper breathing. Stand straight with your feet close together. Your hands should be relaxed on your side. Gently lift both your hands and bring your palms together as you raise them above your head. Assume a praying position. While doing this breath deeply through your nose.
Slowly lower down your hands to your chest and exhale through your mouth. Lower down your hands until you are bending and touching the ground. Inhale deeply through your nose while stretching your legs and the lower half of your body. Maintain your hands’ position on the ground. Exhale through your mouth while arching your body outwards to salute the sun. Inhale while arching your body inwards. Exhale as your slowly stand up and go back to your original position.
Exercise #3: Breathing exercises can be done while sitting down. Sit down on a comfortable chair and keep your back straight. Gently cup your hands on your bent knees. You can close your eyes or stare at a distance while breathing through your nose and exhaling through your mouth.
