Gilded Tarot vs Legacy of the Divine | Best Review

Gilded Tarot can be an effective deck for teaching the fundamentals of tarot, but Legacy of the Divine is a better deck for intermediate to advanced practitioners.

If you are looking for a tarot system that is well designed, beautiful, deep, functional, and useful, then the Gilded Tarot is for you. If you are looking for a system that is less structured and more esoteric, with a huge body of lore and a more freeform approach, then Legacy of the Divine is for you.

Review of the differences between Gilded tarot and Legacy of the Divine

  • Gilded tarots cards are vibrant and muted whereas Legacy of the divine cards is colorful and artistic.
  • Gilded tarot provides guidance and meaning for each card whereas Legacy of the Divine guides us towards hope, wisdom, and inspiration.
  • Gilded tarot messages are based on angelic visions whereas Legacy of the Divine is based on prophetic visions.

My opinion of the differences:

Gilded Tarot is a beautifully executed deck but I would recommend Legacy of the Divine for those looking for a more traditional tarot deck. For those that would like to see how tarot changed from the early days to the present, I recommend purchasing both decks.
Composition

Conclusion:

In conclusion, even though the Gilded Tarot is the better deck, I do recommend the Legacy of the Divine Tarot. The artwork is excellent, the card stock is high-quality, the box and presentation are top-notch. It is a good choice for the intermediate and advanced Tarot reader. The Gilded Tarot is a high-quality deck, but it is not as good as the Legacy of the Divine Tarot.
