The Ancient Egyptian Tarot Deck cards have been designed to offer a more detailed reading than the traditional Tarot Cards, closer to the structure of the Tarot Versions of the present but merging them with the mystical and esoteric meanings of the times of the ancient Egyptians.

This Egyptian Tarot deck is divided into 78 cards, with the court cards reversed, including the Minor Arcana or the 78 cards of the traditional tarot deck. The Major Arcana, or the 22 cards of the traditional tarot deck, are not included in this deck.

Ancient Egyptian tarot cards were originally drawn on wooden boards and appear to show animals and people. The playing card structure of the tarot deck is explained in the book The Ancient Egyptian Tarot Deck, The Cards Illuminati, Secrets Of The Universe.

Indeed, some of the images are similar to the modern tarot cards, but the main difference seems to be that the cards are not divided into suits as they are in today’s playing card deck.
