Before Tarot vs After Tarot | Best Review

After Tarot is a great way to get a good night’s sleep, wake up refreshed, and be ready for the day with a clear, open mind. After Tarot takes the role of counselor and guide, quietly helping you to work your way through a sticky situation, receiving recommendations for finding your own insight and guidance. After Tarot gives you the gift of your own awareness and insight, helping you, as the title says, to be “your own oracle.”

This Before tarot is the tremendous success of the New Vision Tarot and the After Tarot, the Before Tarot Kit reveals to tarot readers and collectors the scenarios that occur just before the pictures in the Rider-Waite-Smith tarot. Each Arcana adds a temporal dimension to what we see and what it symbolizes, opening a fresh window into our knowledge of the cards.

Pros:Cons:
  • The book provides great insight into the Rider Waite deck.

  • It lacks some explanation of pictures of the cards.

This deck contains a 78-card deck and a 160-page guidebook. The accompanying booklets for the majority of Lo Scarabeo decks are available in five languages: English, Spanish, French, Italian, and German.

Pros:Cons:
  • It provides all the information on the standard rider Waite deck.
  • Its box is well made and pliable enough to shuffle.
  • The deck is gorgeous and the artwork is beautiful.
  • The book has glossy pages and color images.
  • The books containing interpretation are a little bit confusing.

Review of the differences between Before Tarot and After Tarot

  • Before tarot reveals to tarot readers the scenes before the pictures of the Rider Waite whereas After tarot reveals after the scenes of which we are most familiar.
  • Before tarot describes each arcana its dimensions and knowledge of the cards whereas After tarot describes the cards scenes why it happens, its causes, and reasons.
  • Before tarot artwork is not as vibrant as After tarot.

In summary, the experience with these two different decks has given me an interesting look at “Tarot” as a whole. In this process, I discovered that I feel drawn to draw a lot of cards and go through a lot of thought processes, both methods of reading. I’m not sure if I prefer one over the other. It feels like it would be a different kind of reading experience. I’m interested to experiment further with different decks, to see how I feel.

Conclusion:

In summary, I understand why many people prefer Before Tarot, but After Tarot is quite a good tool as well. It’s different from Before Tarot, but it’s definitely not worse — unless, that is, you try to use it as a tarot card deck.
