Thus far, 65 qualified clinical psychologists in Bangladesh perform at home and abroad.

In addition, few psychiatrists, 250 assistant clinical psychologists having MS in clinical psychology, counseling psychologists (with one year MS in counseling psychology), and counselors (having one to twelve months’ training) are offering psychotherapeutic services to promote a psychological state of 160 million people of Bangladesh, where 16.1% is affected by various mental disease.

Military training for those clinicians is designed to support the CBT structure. Just in the case of research, clinical psychologists in Bangladesh are researching CBT to ascertain the different correlates and effectiveness of CBT for various disorders.
